Gastroenterology – 40 minutes from the Atlanta airport

Practice:
· Regional acute care hospital with a level 3 ER.
· Our goal is to build an employed GI program as there is only 1 GI servicing a 100k population
o ZERO Competition
· Built-in Referrals: Piedmont employs/contracts with (20+) PCP’s and (4) GS’s within the primary coverage area that will be referred into your practice.
· Support Staff/Equipment:
o Endoscopy Center
o Olympus scopes
o (1) MA, (1) RN,
o (3) ANES with (3-4) CRNA’s
o Option for NP/PA once fully ramped
· Schedule: (Mon. to Fri. – 8:00a to 5:00p)
o 2½ days in the clinic – Averaging in the clinic 20 to 25 patients
o 2½ days Scoping – Average 12-13 per day
o Average 6 to 8 consults per day
· EMR: Epic
· Call: 1:3
o 10 days of call are required per month.
o 1 – Weekend every month – you may get called in 2-4 times per year
Financials:
· Employed position
