High Profile Psychiatric Medical Director – Crisis Diversion Unit – Inpatient
Position:
Brand new 22k sq. ft. Crisis Diversion Unit. This is one of 3 units in the entire state.
This will have both a 23-hour observation unit and a short-term (7day) inpatient unit.
Flexible scheduling options with some tele-psych work.
Financial:
Ongoing salary plus call pay and a small production bonus.
This position carries state benefits, including health insurance and retirement, which are excellent.
Community:
Montgomery, AL is the capital city and has a metropolitan population of just under 400,000 people.
Ninety miles south of Birmingham and about 180 miles to the gulf coast.
The local airport for easy travel in and out.
The leader of this program will get state and possibly national recognition as this type of service will be expanded to other areas.
