Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Diagnose, treat, and manage various small companion animal cases.
· Educate clients and staff on care recommendations and options.
· Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Guide, utilize, and mentor an exceptional support team.
Qualifications:
· Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program.
· Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia.
· A minimum of two years of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
· Proficiency in routine surgical and dental procedures.
· Experience with ultrasound preferred.
· Emergency care and/or acupuncture experience is a plus.
· Certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner is a plus.
· Highly motivated with strong leadership skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
· Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients.
· Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
