This practice is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their newly renovated facility and provide top-notch care to small animals, including cats, dogs, and various exotic pets like rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, and gerbils.
About the Role:
- Position: Associate Veterinarian
- Location: Scituate, Rhode Island (must be licensed or able to obtain a license before starting)
- Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time available
- Experience: Open to New Graduates and Internationally Trained Veterinarians
- Certification: No Board Certification is required
- Team-Oriented: Collaborative environment with mentorship opportunities available
- Case Variety: Cats, dogs, and other small animals (with room to expand if you have a special interest)

Practice Overview:
- 4 exam rooms, 3 treatment tables, 1 sterile OR suite
- Shared associate vet office located downstairs
- In-house lab: Chemistry and CBC
- In-house pharmacy: Supplies readily available
- Team structure:
- 2 Full-Time Vets
- 1 Relief Vet
- 8 Technicians
- 7 Receptionists
- 1 Hospital Administrator
- 1 Full-Time Surgical Technician
Equipment:
- Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
- Sevoflurane anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- 2 In-house autoclaves
- Adjustable exam tables
- Potential for future upgrades (U/S and Endoscope)
Financial Package:
- Part-Time: $1,000/day
- Full-Time: $160,000/year base salary + 22% production bonus (paid quarterly)

- $3,000/year CME allowance + 24 hours for CME

Schedule:
- Full-Time: 4 days/week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm
- Saturdays: Rotating every 3rd week, half-day (8 am-1 pm)
- 16-20 encounters daily with 15-minute appointment blocks
- 4-6 surgical procedures per day
